This one is getting posted a little late, but I have a good reason! I have been celebrating my birthday this weekend and my husband gifted me a new craft work station! I can’t wait to show pictures of it once I get all set up! I think it is going to be amazing though! I already feel so much more organized and I love having all my stuff in one place and organized! Yay!
Today’s devotional is coming from my Jesus Calling book.
This is a great little daily devotion book by Sarah Young.
Today’s reading focuses on 1 Kings 8:23 and Galatians 5:22-23
“Wait with Me for a while. I have much to tell you. You are walking along the path I have chosen for you. It is both a privileged and a perilous way: experiencing My glorious Presence and heralding that reality to others. Sometimes you feel presumptuous to be carrying out such an assignment.
Do not worry about what other people think of you. The work I am doing in you is hidden at first. But eventually blossoms will burst forth, and abundant fruit will be borne. Stay on the path of Life with Me. Trust Me wholeheartedly, letting my Spirit fill you with Joy and Peace.”
What an amazing reminder to simply trust in the Lord and walk alongside him. He reminds us that He has a plan for us already worked out. He has much to tell you. How amazing that God has a unique plan for each of us, and that He has much to tell us! Our God is so amazing!
Do not worry about what other people think of you. God says it plain as day. Sometimes we worry about what other people will think or say, but we are reminded that only God’s judgement is what matters.
Stay on the path of Life with Me. Trust Me wholeheartedly. How amazingly simple, but such a necessary reminder.
Blessings for a great week,
