Our first craft fair is in the books now! We had a great time at the Eagleville Fall Festival on Saturday! The weather was great for the most part, started misting after lunch, and then we got quite a bit of rain in the last couple of hours. It seemed that there was a great turn out, it got very busy at times! We had some great booth neighbors, puppies on one side and candles on the other. The candle smell was great to balance out the dog smell!
It was very interesting to watch what people gravitate towards. Some things I could have predicted, others not at all. We completely sold out of our Beer Opener Signs that said “The Best Beer Is An Open Beer” and “You Look Like You Need A Beer”, people loved those!! I will definitely have to make more of those. We also sold a few fall wreaths, mason jar soap dispensers, wooden signs, Grandkids photo holder signs, headbands and hair ties, wooden crosses, and some other fun items! Some things that I thought would fly off the shelf didn’t end up selling, but we may not have had the right customer and that’s ok! I’m sure every event will be different and have different customers! Overall, I feel very proud of our first event!
We are taking a little break from working, because shew! We are tired! But I am determined to have the Etsy shop up and running by the end of the week. I already have the name secured, HandmadebyKandA. So be on the lookout for that, and I will announce the opening on here!
We have our next event scheduled for Saturday, October 24th at Rockvale Elementary School in Rockvale, TN. This is between Eagleville and Murfreesboro. The event will be from 8 am to 4 pm. We are looking forward to this one as it is outdoors and specifically a Craft Fair!
I hope you can catch us there, and be on the lookout for the opening of the Etsy Shop! I will be posting a few pictures of our craft booth from Saturday very soon!
